Discover the Popularity of Studying in Canada Among Indian Students.
Canada, home to almost 500,000 international students, provides top-notch education at affordable costs. With globally recognized degrees, excellent quality of life, and ample post-study work and immigration prospects, it's a prime choice for Indian students.
Canada Student Visa Requirements
In order to study in Canada, students need a study permit, which validates their stay and complements the student visa for entry. This essential immigration document is required for international students. Maintaining active enrollment and steady academic progress is mandatory for study permit holders. A study permit is always coupled with a visitor visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). It's important to differentiate: a study permit enables studying, while a visitor visa or ETA allows entry to Canada. Our experts provide up-to-date guidance and connect you with authorized migration professionals.

To pursue studies in Canada, securing a Study Permit and Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) is a fundamental requirement according to Canadian Government regulations.
What is a study permit?
Unlike a visa, a study permit is issued by Citizen and Immigration (CIC) and grants permission to study in Canada. With a study permit, maintaining enrollment and making steady academic progress is obligatory. Your study permit is always partnered with a visitor visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). Keep in mind that a study permit facilitates studying in Canada, while a visitor visa or ETA enables entry. Your counselor will provide current details and link you with authorized migration experts.
Student Direct Stream
Indian students enrolling in Canadian universities can now experience quicker visa processing via the Student Direct Stream (SDS) initiated by Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada.
